What a day. So much work. It's weird; today's not Friday.
I can go home in five minutes but I'm trying desperately to convince myself not to do it. I want to put in another hour today but I'm so sleepy and if I go home, I can avoid people who need my help. I should be in an office based sitcom and be the evil tech support chic who laughs at you and pours coffee in your lap whenever you ask her for things. Gosh, that would be fun.
Yes, I'm trying not to think about my roommate. Indeed, I shan't be bringing up my cheesed-ness with her because there's no point. She doesn't listen to me and will just get defensive. I'll have to channel my inner Zen or something. Hmm.
I started perusing the real estate listings again. I want my own place so badly. There are a lot of good deals in the city right now with descriptions that say things like "Highly motivated seller!! Will pay closing costs!! Any offer considered!!" I think I'm going to do really well.
I've already started planning it out for myself. I might need to get a roommate for a little bit. I'd like to avoid that because what I want most of all is an office. I want to set up my computer in a quite, peaceful place with no distractions so I can get some writing done. Yesterday, I received an e-mail asking for testimonials for the Commit to be Fit program that I participated in last year. I wrote a quick spoof for my fitness buddy that had her rolling. She told me that I should write a book. It's been so long since someone encouraged my writing that all my ambition came flooding right back. My problem is that my inner creative child has ADD. I can't write if there's anything to distract me. That's why I need an office. Heck, I want an entire house.
Freedom!

They say 2008 will be a buyers' market, even more so than '07. Hope that's true .. for both our sakes!

I also have writer's ADD. I hate being interrupted. one interruption and my creative juices go hide in some dark corner. I don't think I'll be writing till I get a babysitter!
